Tomato Sauce

 

 

   Ingredients:

 

  • 1 kilo of seedless tomato

  • 1/2 onion and 3 chopped garlic cloves

  • salt to goate

  • a pinch of sugar

  • fresh basil leaves

  • oregano

  • olive oil

  • black pepper (optional)

 

 Method of preparation:

 

  • Saute the onion and garlic in the oil over a low heat.

  • Put the tomatoes.

  • Season with salt and pepper.

  • Mix well and cover the pan, leaving an uncapped space, always on a low heat.

  • Stir from time to time.

  • If you need to add a little water.

  • When the tomato is well cooked (after about 30 minutes), beat it with the mix.

  • Add a pinch of sugar and stir.

  • If you need to add a little more water.

  • Season with oregano and basil leaves.

  • Cover the pan and let it cool.
